High School basketball is in full swing with the Kaneland Knights expected to battle it out with the DeKalb Barbs and the Geneva Vikings for the final Western Sun Championship.

The Hampshire Whip Purs will soon be ending their association with the Big Northern Conference before joining the Fox Valley  league and would like to go out with a bang.

In the Little 10 Newark is still the team to beat but Somonauk, H-BR , Indian Creek and Leland-Earlville will all be competitive and one of them should wind up runner-up to Newark.

TV-17 will be there to cover all of the action. Friday games will be repeated on Saturday, Sunday and Mondays at noon and 8pm.  Tuesday games will air at noon and 8pm on Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays. And don’t forget, we’ll be covering Girls basketball as well!
