 Like all NIU grads I was shocked and saddened by the tragic events of February 14, 2008.
Even though we are called TV-17 Outdoors, those who watch us know we are very committed to broadcasting high school sports in our viewing area.
Over the years we have watched players like PJ Fleck and Boone Thorgesen from Kaneland and Pat Schiller of Geneva become student athletes at NIU.
We know Northern will recover from this tragedy and we offer this space for the many Huskie fans, graduates and boosters in the Fox Valley to leave a message of support, prayer or sympathy for NIU.
